Third Cook - Pastry

Under the direction of the Executive Chef and the Pastry Chef de Partie; the Pastry Cook position would be responsible for prepping and cooking pastry items in our main kitchen while maintaining cleanliness of the work areas, equipment and control wastage and spoilage of food. The pastry items will be used in our Pacific Restaurant, Banquets, Room Service and our Courtyard Café.

 

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have valid FoodSafe and WHMIS certificates and an appropriate blend of culinary education and experience. They must be responsible, reliable with strong interpersonal skills. They must also have a proven ability to follow instructions quickly and efficiently while working creatively in a fast paced environment.
