Systems Manager

Description of Duties:
• Responsible for the management of all Hotel systems including: Computer systems, Business Server, Network systems, Telephone PBX/Voicemail systems, Property Management systems, Accounting systems, Server Room systems, Systems Storage area, Systems Disaster recovery, Wireless Internet topologies, Radio systems, Pager systems, Security Software and server, CCT Systems and recording
• Identify and remedy any security vulnerabilities
• Advise on lease contracts for telephone systems, television suppliers, internet suppliers, MFP copiers and other technologies for the Hotel
• Ensure all systems are maintained, repaired and secured
• To support, maintain and achieve outstanding levels of customer service and operating efficiency

Required Qualifications:
• Proven competency in guest service
• Ability to accept responsibility and ownership
• Must have excellent communications skills
• Must have advanced knowledge of Windows 2003/2008R2/2012R2, Server Administration, DNS and DHCP functions, Active Directory maintenance, Group policy editing and VPN setup, POS systems (Squirrel, Global payments, Merchant link and Moneris) Microsoft Office, Cloud Services, Cloud Backups and File Transfers, IT security, PCI compliancy, Firewall protection and Virus detection devices and software, HTML, Java Script, SQL scripts, Power shell, C+, Oracle, SQL, ORACLE Weblogic and PBX/Voicemail systems
• Must have solid organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, sound decision making abilities and be skilled at troubleshooting and problem solving
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in systems – or a combination of education and experience
• Minimum 3 years Hotel IT/CIS experience
