Senior Reservations Agent - Seasonal

Description of Duties:
- Prepare incoming group and tour files by reviewing the contracts, entering in rooming lists, and following up on payments and special requests
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the department, which is a team of about 6-8 reservations agents
- Ensure the team’s quality of calls are consistent with Preferred Standards
- Assist the Reservations and Revenue Assistant Manager and Manager in maximizing hotel occupancy along with average daily rate, as well as resolving guest issues and making good business decisions while maintaining outstanding guest service standards, in their absence

Required Qualifications:
- Dependable team player who can provide and foster a positive work environment
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Previous supervisory experience, reservations experience and/or direct experience with group reservations considered assets
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Stays focused on tasks despite distractions and interruptions
- Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM
- Flexible to work all shifts as business levels dictate
