Duck Confit

Duck Confit

An ancient cooking method perfected by the French, this meltingly tender, moist, and extremely flavorful dish will have you coming back tomorrow for more!

Ingredients:

Duck leg, salt, sugar, thyme, bay leaf, spices, duck fat. (gluten free)

Cooking Instructions:

Thaw. Remove from the bag. Preheat the oven to 375 F. Heat up an oven safe fry pan on a stove top element set to medium with a little oil, and place the duck leg in the oil, skin side down. Fry for 2 minutes and then place in the oven that has been preheated. Set a timer for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, flip the duck leg over and put back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Check to see if the duck leg is hot, 160F or 60 C, with a thermometer.

Beef Lasagna

A classic done right by the HGP kitchen. The Hotel Grand Pacfic’s HGP-at-Home is now your favorite Italian restaurant?

Ingredients:

Bolognaise (Ground Beef, onion, celery, carrots, garlic, tomatoes, beef stock, bay leaves, salt and pepper). Ricotta Cheese filling: (Ricotta cheese, eggs, mozzarella, salt, pepper) Egg noodle sheets: (Durum semolina flour, eggs).

Cooking Instructions:

Thaw. Remove the foil lid and place on an oven proof sheet pan, or dish, and place in a preheated 375 F oven for around 40 minutes, or until the lasagna is hot, 160 F on an instant read thermometer.

Lamb Shank

Lamb Shank

This tender, fall off the bone lamb shank, braised in a luxurious red wine gravy is your new family dinner!

Ingredients:

Lamb shank, beef stock (beef bones, onions, carrots, celery, tomato paste, herbs, bay leaf), lamb marinated in onion, garlic, mint, rosemary, parsley, red wine, canola oil, spice, salt and pepper. (gluten free)

Cooking Instructions:

Thaw. Open the bag and remove the lamb shank and pour the braising liquid into an oven safe pot or dish. Preheat the oven to 375 F. Heat the braising liquid up on top of the stove on an element set at medium. When it has come to a simmer add the lamb shank and cover the pot or dish in aluminum foil and place in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and check the temperature with an instant read thermometer, to 160F or 60C. If you want you can reduce the braising liquid on the stove top to use a sauce, glazing the lamb shank with the reducing liquid.

These juicy melt-in-your-mouth oven baked Barbecue Ribs are fall-off-the-bone delicious!

Ingredients:

Pork side ribs (pork, salt, pepper, celery seed, paprika) bbq sauce (ketchup, onion, garlic, vinegar, mustard, molasses, brown sugar, salt and pepper, paprika). (gluten free)

Cooking Instructions:

Thaw. Preheat the oven to 375F. Remove the ribs from the bag and place on an oven safe bake sheet or pan. Lining the pan with aluminum foil will help with clean up afterwards. Place the ribs bone side up for 10 minutes. Flip the ribs over and cook for another 15 minutes. Glaze the ribs with any remaining bbq sauce the bag during the last few minutes. Check to see if the ribs are hot, 160 F or 60 C, with an instant read thermometer.
