Dear Guest,

It is unfathomable what is going on in the world with the Coronavirus.  Our health and our businesses are being threatened, leaving us feeling helpless and concerned for our futures. In the interest of the well being of our guests, clients, colleagues, and suppliers, we have made a very difficult decision to enact a temporary suspension of Hotel operations effective Thursday, March 26.  We will re-assess our status on April 30 or sooner with hopes of establishing a re-opening date at that time.

In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Hotel Grand Pacific is working proactively to help protect you during your stay with us.

As always our first priority is to help keep you, our guest, happy, healthy and comfortable at all times during your stay.  You can rest assured that the Hotel Grand Pacific is committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness.  Among the many additional measures put in place we have enacted enhanced sanitization protocols which include disinfecting high touch areas such as elevator buttons, handrails and door handles, among many others.  We have placed sanitizing stations in convenient areas throughout the hotel while all staff have been trained on proper personal hygiene.

We’re closely monitoring and following the guidance and advice from the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Centre for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and other global, federal and provincial health agencies

On a more personal note, we wanted to ensure our clients and guests that we are here to help and work with you, and provide you with the flexibility to help alleviate stress throughout this time of uncertainty. We are allowing all clients and guests who have made bookings directly with us on or before March 10th, 2020, for travel dates until May 31, 2020, to cancel without any penalty should their travel plans change.

Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third parties are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies and for assistance.
