The Grand Pacific Athletic Club allows you to complete your usual workout in an extremely well equipped space. Our complete training and fitness facility includes a gym, full-sized (25-meter) pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. In our gym we have free weights and Paramount Strength Equipment, treadmills, stationary and recumbent bikes, stair climbers, a rowing ergometer and a squash court. We also offer a variety of yoga, strength, Pilates and Aquafit classes. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the fitness area. Athletic shoes and proper work out attire must be worn in the fitness area.

Squash Information

Bookings are taken up to one day in advance. We honour bookings on a first-come, first-serve basis.
 

Class Descriptions:

Aquafit

This class takes place in the pool and is designed to provide both cardiovascular and muscular strenth components. You don't need to be a swimmer as our pool is shallow and you always have one foot on the bottom.

Butt and Abs

A one hour class of concentrated work on the gluteus, abdominal and lower back.

Yoga 

60 – 75 minutes of stretching and relaxation. All of our instuctors offer classes that can accommodate a new comer to yoga or someone up to the intermediate level. 

Yoga Fusion 

A combination of pilates and yoga. 

Pilates 

This class focuses on strengthening the "powerhouse" (abs and buttocks) to execute exercises which are designed to increase flexibility, strengthen muscles and improve posture. The method involves concentration and the coordination of breath and movement, therby helping to balance mind and body.

Rapid Result Training 

An advanced class incorporating strength, endurance and flexibility training into an interactive group session. The class is comprised of warm up, stretching, callisthenic and plyometric exercises, circuit training, resistance training, advanced core stabilization and cool down stretching. 

Core Combo 

A fast paced full body workout with an emphasis on core strength, balance and stability. Complete with cardio intervals, this class will challenge you with simple but effective movements to strengthen the abdominal & lower back area and improve posture and balance.
