Payroll and Cashier

Description of Duties:

This position is responsible for administering an accurate bi-weekly payroll and is the primary hotel cashier.   Duties include balancing and dispersing gratuities and allowances. Counting and verifying daily cash receipts. Preparing bank deposits and performing change orders. Preparing bi-weekly and monthly payroll reports and other tasks assigned by the Financial Controller.

 

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have completed the Payroll Compliance Legislation course or Basic Payroll Level 1 or have equivalent experience (two years in payroll and one year of cashier experience)

They will also have completed a university or college degree/diploma in Finance, Business or Commerce with an accounting component.  Previous hotel experience is an asset as is familiarity with ADP.
