Chef de Partie - Pastry
Description of Duties:
This supervisory culinary position helps to create Guest Satisfaction by preparing, cooking and presenting quality foods. The position is responsible for directing and supervising a designated section of the kitchen, planning and executing the dessert menu, developing new designs and recipes, ordering supplies and equipment.
The successful candidate will have Food Safe and WHMIS certification, along with an appropriate blend of culinary education and experience. They must have a minimum of four years of experience with Red Seal in Pastry. They must also have a proven ability to work unsupervised, showing strong leadership skills in a fast paced environment. Previous exposure to food costing is considered an asset.
